About this Narration: Goats are our Life

We Garasia Jats are pastoral people. We live by our animals and our farms. We keep goats, cows and buffalo. We keep camels for riding or draft, and plow our fields with pairs of bullocks. Tending goats is the substance of our life. I have shown the goats in their pen. The birds are in the trees. In the village there is a reservoir, from where I fetch water. The animals and travelers can quench their thirst there too.
